Visual identity for Basalt Libra, the Nene Collective periodical whose first installment is included in the portfolio.

The logo is based on the non-signifying glyphic system in Cassandra Nell Spiral’s art. An attempt to convey the written hand without modulation or serifs was made.

The logo is as improvisatory as the periodical, and many variants may be released in future.
